Be Brave Little One
Baby Showers/Sprinkles used to be very hard for me when I was going through my losses/miscarriages. I had to realize it was not the “Mother to Be’s” fault I could not get pregnant. So, I would go, put my smile on, and try to work through my feelings.
Just kidding, did not drink them away. I really did try to work through them.
Now, after my daughter was born, baby showers are one of my favorite things to do. I love giving presents in general, but baby shower gifts are at a whole different level. I get very excited making them thoughtful for the baby and mom. Having my own child, I now know what worked and didn’t, what was important vs fluff that was not used. I love seeing the mom’s facial expression when opening the presents I carefully selected for them. The excitement grows even more when it is a girl because it brings me back to the moments I have shared with my daughter, and how special it has been.

When asked to go to a friend’s baby sprinkle, I was so excited. I was thinking what would be a great gift for her and the baby. I also have not taken pictures in awhile, and have been itching to get behind the camera again. Sprinkled through (get it, baby sprinkle, never-mind) are pictures I took while I was there. The hostesses of the party did a fantastic job with the decorations, and food. It makes taking picture much easier. I hope you enjoy the photographs.

Also, if you are pregnant and are not having difficulties but have friends that are, understand they are happy for you, but working through things. Thank you for the invite! You are a great friend! Can’t wait to meet her.
