Seminole (Cat Haven - "Clear the Shelter")
“We don’t…
stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” ~ George Bernard Shaw ~
Meet Seminole…
a playful, loving, friendly, 15 year old, female cat. She was named after the city she was found in, and to her age is just a number. At heart she is young and active.
Seminole…
was an indoor/outdoor cat, but when her owner moved to an assisted living she was put outside. The wonderful neighbor was still feeding her, until one day Seminole came up limping.
Seminole had…
a broken back left paw/leg. She had two surgeries to fix it, and a third to remove the pin, once it was healed. Now you can’t even tell something happened.
Right now…
She is in a foster home with several dogs, cats, and humans. She does really well the cats and humans but not the biggest fan of the dogs. She will also do best as an indoor cat.
Love nibbles/bites…
is something Seminole does best, when she is being loved on. If you are interested in this sweet, wonderful cat please contact Cat Haven or call her foster mom (Emma) at (407) 821-5850
Zoe (Humane Society of Pinellas - "Clear The Shelter")
When going to the Humane Society of Pinellas…
Zoe was one of the first cats I met. She was sitting in her outside play area catching some rays and checking out some humans.
She came out of her…
condo section to the main play area for treats and toys. She also drank from the water pitcher while being poured. She was friendly and active.
As I am writing this a week or so later…
I am amazed, out of all the cats (six of them) that I took photographs of, she is the only one still there. I would have bet she would be the first one to go.
Zoe is a…
four-year-old girl, with a lot of spunk and personality. She is very energetic and playful.
She also does this funny thing where she plays with her mouth open. Zoe is also very pretty and has a “Marilyn Monroe Beauty Mark” on her lip.
She also loves…
the enclosed outdoor cat condo and (per previous owner) would sneak out of the door and around the neighbor’s house but would always come back.
I “will go out on a limb” and say she will do great with an enclosed porch to hangout on.
If you are looking for…
a cat who is lively, animated, wants to play, and soak up some sun, then, Zoe is your cat.
is Meow or Never!
Seriously, I don’t know why she is still at the shelter. Go get her right Meow!
If you are interested in Zoe please follow the link below, and scroll to you see her name. She will be at the bottom because her names begins with a ‘Z’
Donatello (ARK of Tampa - "Clear the Shelter")
Meow! I am…
only a couple months old, calm, quiet and smart. This is why when we were named after “The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” I got the awesome name of Donatello.
Like my name sake…
out of my siblings I am the calmer of the kittens. Don’t be alarmed if you come to see me and I am shy.
I am very sweet…
and will get close when I feel comfortable. If you have my favorite food, it will definitely help.
I know you are thinking…
Pizza, but I am a kitten not a Turtle. I am talking TUNA!!!
I just need…
love, time, patience, and oh yeah, Tuna!
Well…
Will you be my Splinter?

Harley
As I was walking/running, I was watching this woman and her dog in the grass, on the side of the walk way. She had treats and working on sit and stay when another dog was passing on the sidewalk. After the dog had passed the sit and stay was released. I walked by and the dog was very friendly. She says in a loving, joking manner, “This is my problem child, loves humans, hates dogs.”
I continued with my walk, and decided to stop by and asked if I could take Harley’s picture. I found out, “She is a rescue mutt from Tampa. She was adopted by Canadians, and when it gets hot she goes back to Canada with us.”
I was informed Harley does not like to get her picture taken, and turns away from the camera. When I took the picture (with my Iphone) and showed Harley’s owner she stated, “That is the best picture of Harley ever taken.”
Harley was adopted when she was thought to be three years old, but turns out was closer to two years old, and is now four years old.
It was nice to meet you Harley
